The newspaper "New Region" is the independent internet edition of the countries of South Caucasus. The edition is founded in 2006. The main purpose of the project - operative and regular acquaintance of readers with the main events, affears and the processes taking place in the countries of region - Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The special attention is given also to a state of affairs in conflict zones - to South Ossetia, Abkhazia and Nagorno karabakh. The resource combines in itself the publication of an operative news line and on a regular basis updated.
